How we’re responding to COVID-19

At Polimex we’re keeping a close eye on the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic developments across Canada and the globe. As the situation unfolds, we’re committed to being both responsive and responsible, navigating these times with everyone’s safety in mind.

Whilst Polimex doors remain open, hygiene standards for our employees, products and tools is our top priority. We are closely following the latest guidance from the WHO, local governments and public health agencies and we are taking the following measures to help the safety and well-being of our customers and staff.

  • Masks are now mandatory at our offices. Customers entering Polimex offices will be required to wear a mask and practice physical distancing for the duration of their visit.

  • Using gloves when accepting parcels/documents/money from customers.

  • Employees washing their hands often with soap and water for at least 20 seconds.

  • Disinfecting workstation surfaces such as equipment, desk tops, common areas, debit phones, phones, light switches etc.

To help with social distancing during this challenging time, we are asking our customers to contact our offices by phone or email (info@polimex.com) or the agent you have been dealing with.

As we appreciate our customers and we are thankful for your understanding in order to keep with the Government of Canada recommendations, we are asking our clients who are returning from international travel to self isolate for 14 days from the date they have returned to Canada and not to attend our office until the self isolation period has finished.

Right now, we’re all facing challenges and restrictions in the world around us but we want to ensure that we are diligently working to keep our customers safe and informed.
